Field Trips -Adventures in the community help expand children’s awareness of roles others have in society and will be our many connection to socials studies.  Different field trips will be organized throughout the year as a way to make a real connections, many times it will be a cumulative activity to our theme. Some of these include: Fire Station, Local Greenhouses, The Pumpkin Patch, Veterans Park, The Zoo, The Birds of Prey, Babby Farms!          PARENTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME

We will be exploring our Community Helpers in September and taking a field trip to the fire station!

We will be fish in September.  Celebrating the beginning of our ocean unit we will go to the YMCA to swim!

Pumpkin Patch

October

We will get to experience a trip to the pumpkin patch.  Students will play in corn, take a ride on tractor, go to the petting zoo and get to pick a small pumpkin of their choice.

We will visit a care center each week and engage and help in our community! Specifics to come...….
