Payment, Sick and Vacation Policies and Expectations

Payment is required prior to the time your child will be watched. A $20.00 late fee will be applied if payment is not on time, unless prior arrangements have been made. Payment is due the 1st and 15th of every month. If either the 1st or the 15th land on a weekend, payment is due the Friday prior to that weekend date. Payment is still required for any day/s your child is absent due to sickness; in the case of my sickness or absence, payment will be reimbursed
**Please notify me 2 weeks in advance of any vacations or time off.**


Your child is welcome to 1/2 day unpaid vacation day per month of contract period or up to 6 days total/year.  Those vacation days may not be used on holidays that are listed below as paid days off. New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Any day/s your child is absent beyond the allotted vacation days are still considered contracted paid days, and you owe provider, Nicole Marquette Sala, the agreed upon daily rate for your child. Provider, Nicole Sala, will give at least two weeks notice of days La Luz will be closed and not providing preschool and child care services.
